This form is for BMC Areas to apply for festival funding in 2020.Please complete this form by Monday 6 January 2020 All applicants will be informed of the outcome by 16 January 2020. Successful applicants will receive the following support from the BMC: Funding Sharing of your promotion across BMC social media BMC banners and bunting Event planning guidance Health & Safety information Please note it is your responsibility to plan, organise and run all elements of the event. If you receive funding you will be required to follow BMC event procedures and recruit the following event staff: Event Co-ordinator; the person who organises the event and ultimately is the person in charge. Activity Co-ordinator; responsible for, and for supervising, the activities, such as climbing and hill walking, undertaken at the event. For small events the Event Co-ordinator and the Activity Co-ordinator may be the same person. Welfare Co-ordinator; only needed if under 18 year olds are attending. Ensures all Child Protection issues are covered and that the BMC Child Protection Policy is followed.
